Harrods, one of London’s most popular establishments, will, for the first time, adorn its windows with pieces of fine watch-making. The store commemorates 180 years of Jaeger-LeCoultre, one of the biggest names in Swiss haute horlogerie tradition. The celebration of the watchmaker will enable fans of the brand to step into the shoes of a watchmaker and understand the manufacturing and working of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s watches. Four master classes in all have been organized, which have begun from the 6th of May and will run up till the 30st of May.
These workshops will be led by experts from Jaeger-LeCoultre who specialize in Metiers Rares. From the 6th to 12th of May, attendees to the workshop will don white watchmakers’ coats and understand the insides of timepieces. The Engraving class will begin on the 13th of May and end on the 19th of May. The Enameling workshop begins on the 20th of May and ends on the 25th of May, while the Gem Setting workshop will run from the 26th of May to the 31st of May. Visit Jaeger-LeCoultre at Harrods to know more and reserve a place at these celebratory master classes for watch connoisseurs.
